Moving beyond the binary opposition between religion and non-religion, this volume explores how the two intersect in contemporary family life. Organized around the themes of intergenerational transmission, parenting, intimate relationships, belonging, personal autonomy, family norms, and religious freedom, it draws on comparative studies from Algeria (Kabylia), Canada, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Romania, Türkiye, Uruguay, and the United States.
